Tele-Health Visit

30 minutes: $40
45 minutes: $60

Sometimes, from the comfort of our own home, we could use support.  Whether it’s guidance for continued well-being, or a health concern, this service provides time with Mary Catherine to share and receive feedback.  Even though, the acupuncture needles can not be used in a tele-health situation, Mary Catherine will listen, observe, and recommend dietary support, life-style change or other options which are intended to give the patient tools to proceed by their own hand.

This “one to one” visit is offered to support self-empowerment.  This is the part of the (in-office) treatment session which often requires the patient to self-reflect and take action to support their life-style changes to make a difference in their own health.

This 30 or 45 minute session can be via telephone or through video chat.

Please provide payment at time of appointment scheduling.  Appointments are rescheduled, in lieu of refunds.  Appointments may be rescheduled up to 24 hours prior to a session.  Missed appointments are not refundable.  Thank you for understanding.

In-Office Acupuncture (First-time patient) - NOT OFFERED AT THIS TIME

Acupuncture is one of the oldest, most commonly used forms of medicine in the world. Originating in China more than 2,500 years ago, acupuncture is currently one of the most thoroughly researched, practiced, and respected forms of complementary medicine available anywhere.

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, your overall health is determined by the quality of the Qi (energy) flow through the natural pathways of your body (meridians). Acupuncture uses a variety of techniques, including placing very thin sterile needles into specific points on the body, to stimulate and improve your Qi flow. The many benefits of acupuncture include:

  • Pain reduction
  • Stress and tension relief
  • Increased energy levels
  • Stronger digestion
  • Relief from challenging habits and addictions
  • Greater sense of overall health and well-being

A first-time treatment could last between 75 to 90 minutes.  This is a session were Mary Catherine learns about you and why you have come for acupuncture treatments.  Time is provided within this session for a first-time acupuncture treatment.  Typically one walks away with a positive experience.  Perhaps it’s less pain, or maybe it’s a deep peace.  The experience is different for each person.  Generally a plan is created for future sessions.

In-Office Acupuncture (follow-up treatments) - NOT OFFERED AT THIS TIME

60 minutes: $60

Follow-up acupuncture treatments build from the previous treatments.  We learn what has worked for you from past treatments.  From there, we will assess again what is needed and perhaps revisit parts of previous treatments that have been successful in providing healing for the body.  Sometimes we remain on an already plotted course, sometimes we use part of a previous treatment, and sometimes we change our plan of action to a new strategy.  We are fortunate there are many options and angles to approach an issue in Chinese medicine.

Typically one walks away with a positive experience.  Perhaps it’s less pain, or perhaps it’s a deep peace.  The experience is different for each person.

Please come hydrated, having had a meal within 1 to 3 hours and wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.
